Informa donates £32,750 to Japanese relief effort

Informa employees and the Group have joined together to donate £32,750 to Japan relief work after the devastating tsunami in March. £16,375 was raised or donated by staff and Informa has matched this with another £16,375 to the Red Cross. Informa has offices globally, including one in Tokyo and all staff there were safe after the disaster.

Alongside financial donations, innovative responses from staff included a number donating their £500 prize money after winning an Informa Award for excellence at work; T&F UK IT donating the profit after selling old IT equipment; Informa Investment Solutions in the US raising money by selling cookbooks compiled of recipes from an event and ESI, Huthwaite, T&F Boca Raton and IIR UK raising money through bake sales.
