John Van Der Valk
John is the President of Digital for Informa’s Global Exhibitions Division, and spearheads the expansion of its digital services. He came to Informa from UBM and has built his career in business information and B2B media. Prior to his current role John was Managing Director of UBM Amsterdam, and was responsible for global trade exhibitions and online activities, primarily in Food and Pharma.Prior to joining UBM, John held senior management positions at VNU/Nielsen, both in Europe and in the US.
John received his MBA in Business Administration, with a specialization in Marketing Management, from the Erasmus University of Rotterdam and the Community of European Management Schools.
