Jeremy joined Informa in 2015 as Managing Director for Professional Development and Learning within the Knowledge and Networking division of Informa. He has 25 years’ experience in marketing, brand and digital roles, and has worked in many different regions for local and global organisations.
Jeremy began his career at J Walter Thompson in 1990, working in the UK, Amsterdam, Sydney and founding JWT’s brand & digital consultancy. He was Content and Marketing Director at the cable group NTL before being appointed Brand & Communications Director at Abbey National / Santander in 2003, where he was responsible for the group’s marketing activities, the refurbishment of the branch network and two re-brandings of the business.
In 2008, Jeremy joined the E.ON Group as UK Brand and Communications Director, and was appointed as Marketing Director of E.ON’s new Energy Solutions Business in early 2011. This entailed responsibility for product development and management, pricing, customer value and insight. He established E.ON’s global Net Promoter Score Programme, which drove customer satisfaction improvements across E.ON’s core markets. In 2012, Jeremy joined the Commercial Bank of Qatar as Executive General Manager and Chief Marketing Officer, re-launching the brand and establishing the marketing discipline in this emerging market.
Jeremy is a graduate of Law from Exeter University and holds an MBA from the Judge Business School, Cambridge .
