Cityscape Global achieves record breaking $61bn USD in real estate deals
Cityscape Global cemented its position as the largest real estate exhibition in the world last Thursday, after the second edition of the Riyadh based show closed with a record-breaking $61.3bn USD in real estate transactions - a 109% growth year-on-year.
The four-day event at the Riyadh Exhibition & Convention Center in Malham saw 172,000 attendees gather, including international and local developers, investors, regulators, and government officials at what has now become a global hub for real estate.
The significance of Cityscape Global to facilitating global real estate transactions is evident through its reach and impact across the industry. In just the first hour of the show, the developer of a 25-building project sold five of its buildings. Another developer sold 70 per cent of their off-plan project in the first two days; while a 600,000 sqm parcel of land in North Riyadh set a new Guinness World Record for an auction lot achieving a landmark sale price of $979mn USD.
Cityscape Global is a marquee event organised by Tahaluf, an Informa-KSA strategic joint venture supporting Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030.
