Informa receives DJSI recognition for sustainability initiatives
Informa has been recognised among the world's most responsible and sustainable large businesses in the latest Dow Jones Sustainability Indices (DJSI), a series of leading benchmarks that measure the economic, environmental, governance and social performance of companies globally.
For the second year running, the Group has been included in the DJSI World Index and the DJSI Europe Index, both highly competitive rankings of the most sustainable companies in the world and companies headquartered in Europe.
"We are proud that Informa's commitment to running our business and relationships with key stakeholders in a responsible and sustainable way has once again been recognised. Our inclusion in the DJSI World Index and DJSI Europe Index is testament to the drive, ambition and commitment of colleagues from across the Group," said Ben Wielgus, Informa's Head of Sustainability.
Launched in 1999, the DJSI analyses companies according to 21 governance, environmental and social factors.
This year, Informa saw increased scores in areas including operational eco-efficiency, tax strategy, climate strategy and corporate citizenship and philanthropy.
