IPEX 2010 Takes Top Honours at Prestigious Events Industry Awards Ceremony
Ipex 2010 has scooped top honours at the Association of Event Organisers Ltd (AEO) Awards Ceremony, where it was named ‘Best Tradeshow Exhibition’ in the category for events over 2,000m2.
The prestigious annual Awards organised by AEO, the trade body representing companies involved in event organisation, is the flagship ceremony for the live events and exhibition industry. The Awards categories are highly competitive and recognise the outstanding achievements in the planning, delivery and execution of events in both consumer and business to business industries. This year’s event, which took place on Friday 1st July at The Capital Hall, ExCeL London, was hosted by UK comedian Dominic Holland and attended by over 1,200 industry professionals.
Trevor Crawford, Director of the Print Group at Informa Exhibitions and representatives of the Ipex 2010 organising team were present to receive the award. Commenting on this latest success for Ipex 2010, said Nick Craig Waller, Marketing Director of Ipex 2010, “This is another huge achievement for Ipex 2010 and is testament to all the hard work and dedication not just from the Informa Print Group, but all Ipex 2010 stakeholders, exhibitors and visitors alike who teamed up together to deliver an outstanding industry-wide event.”
He continued, “We are also particularly delighted that as a key global print and graphic arts event, Ipex 2010 was able to beat off really strong competition from other sectors and gain the wider industry recognition and endorsement that the print industry deserves.”
Ipex 2014 will take place at London’s ExCeL from 26 March to 2 April 2014.
