The Bride Show Abu Dhabi unveils exclusive new bridal couture at 2012 preview
The Bride Show Middle East has revealed a sneak peak of its Abu Dhabi edition 2012 with a private catwalk show by a selection of high profile fashion houses.
Dar Al Mansoury, Dar Sara and The Dress Boutique took part, each offering two exclusive looks that will be presented for the very first time at the Show which starts today until 11 February 2012. The designers were joined by Mauzan, who presented an exclusive Abaya design that underlined the relevance of the garment in contemporary fashion circles.
Dar Sara’s designs were inspired by the 1950s, a decade that revived figure-flattering nipped in waists, delicate white gloves and fluttery, ballerina shape inspired dresses, whilst Dar Al Mansouri offered a unique gown adorned in Swarovski crystals. The Dress Boutique is the exclusive stockist of La Sposa bridal couture, and presented two dresses from the upcoming Spring Collection – Danza, a one shoulder gown with a sweetheart neckline and Lena, a lace and pleated tulle gown with lace shoulder straps.
The Bride Show team also confirms that Syrian Designer Rami Al Ali will display two exquisite new designs at the event. Established in Dubai, Rami Al Ali Couture is based on the philosophy of intrigue and striving to generate everlasting impact. His creations adorn the red carpet of events around the world, including the 2011 Academy Awards.
